Artist trading cards

I am working with my students to create artist trading cards which we will be sending and switching with other schools . This project is being put together by Nick Hann from the blog min Matisse. I am so excited to see what my students make and what Artist trading cards we get in the trade with other schools.

Dot day Printing

Pre-K students studied about the book the Dot , and for international.day they printed it with different circles on the white and black paper.

Tint and shade trees

Fourth grade students studied how to mix tense of paint.  Each student picked shape and color and paint in the background of their paper. Then we looked at different trees and with pastels students drew one tree in each corner of their paper.
