Leaf print rubbing

This is a first grade projects made with leaf rubbings plates and crayons.then we painted over that with watercolors.

Mixed-media paintings

We began this project by gluing newspaper all over wood boards.next the students painted a landscape background on top of the newspaper.in our next class we will collage other things on top of that.

Plaster masks

The fourth-grade students are making masks for Purim.they started by using plaster on top of a plastic mask.then with more plaster they added details like hair nose and beards.in our next class they will paint them.

Second grade groggers- noisemakers

For Purim the second-grade students are making 3-D sculptures that are also noisemakers.we used cups Styrofoam balls and beads.venues plaster over that.next they will painted and then add details like hair and eyes.

Sandpaper frames

The second grade students are making frames for their artwork using strips of sandpaper and oil pastels.each student had to pick one pattern they wanted to use for the frame and the different colors.

Presidents' Day flags

Presidents' Day the 4th graders made flags with an optical illusion.

Fruit

Fifth-grade students practiced watercolor techniques. By drying and painting a fruit.

Drawing and sculpting animals

The kindergarten children through pictures of animals and colored them in using colored pencils.next they used different kinds of wood sticks and model magic to make a 3-D sculpture of the same animal.
