Canvas self reflections

Six grade students are starting to design and paint their canvases. The project is based on a self reflection that was done in their art journals. The students of six grade get to choose which art supplies they want to use. Including tape watercolors ,acrylic paint, collage materials.

So this is a project I am doing with the six grade Duden's. For their bar and bat mitzvah when a child turns 13,he or she reads from the bible(torah). For this they use a "hand "to follow along as they read.we are making this hand(Yad).here is the first step.we used  clay and a metal rod,when the kids were done designing ,I bake them in the oven.
