Painted flowers

Pre-K artists created big flowers after looking at artwork artist Georgia O'Keeffe. They started by using a black passed out to outline their flower and then filled the flower in with tempera paint. I gave them only the primary colors and they mixed all the other colors.

painted placemat

These are Passover placemats made by the third-grade students.they started by putting tape and shapes on their project.then they sponge painted the whole place mat with acrylic paint.in the next class they peeled off all their paint and shapes and used different color sharpies to add other designs to their place mat.they turned out really nice.

The kindergarten students painted boxes.used lots of colors of paint and then sponge painted on top of that.next class they will make a curtain for their box.inside the boxes they can keep special things. 
this class will be keeping a Torah that they made inside the box (Aron).
