Chinese New Year rooster

For Chinese New Year the second grade students made roosters. They started by drawing a simple outline of a rooster next using Forks they printed different colors of tempera paint and the last step was adding details with a thin paintbrush and writing rooster in Chinese calligraphy.

2nd graders made heart using pastels and printing with black paint.







boats

Boats were created by the first graders.  using pieces of cardboard they printed the shape of their boat with black paint.  next they colored in their  boats using fluorescent pastels the background was painted with different shades of blue and green and white paint.












Fall leaf print

3rd graders created fall leaves Paintings. First They drew some different leaves on paper .Next They made 1 Leaf on a Piece of foam.  the used markers to draw on the foam and then print it over and over again on paper. Next they painted a background paper with watercolors and salt.  the leaves were then cut out and glued onto their water colored background.  they came out so nice .



















Landscape

Second grade students creative landscapes after studying about the artist Ton Schulten. First they Drew in pencil ,after that They filled in their pictures with different colors of paint - hot and cold color . the final step was to outline everything with black paint .They came out so colorful !
