2nd graders made heart using pastels and printing with black paint.

Pre-K students studied about the artist Jim dine.   Pre-K students Drew hearts with pastels. the background was painted with watercolors.

Tint and shade trees

Fourth grade students studied how to mix tense of paint.  Each student picked shape and color and paint in the background of their paper. Then we looked at different trees and with pastels students drew one tree in each corner of their paper.

I did this project with the first grade students .I saw this project on the AOE website.it is introduction to there next project which is the color wheel.
