I did this project with the first grade students .I saw this project on the AOE website.it is introduction to there next project which is the color wheel.

Geometric shape vase and flowers

Kindergarten Students were learning about geometrical shapes.they design A vase using geometrical shapes.next they glued it onto a big piece of paper,Drew their flowers and color them in using crayons.

Yad project

So this is a project I am doing with the six grade Duden's. For their bar and bat mitzvah when a child turns 13,he or she reads from the bible(torah). For this they use a "hand "to follow along as they read.we are making this hand(Yad).here is the first step.we used  clay and a metal rod,when the kids were done designing ,I bake them in the oven.
