Clay birds and bugs
The preschool kids looked at and studied the artwork of Charlie Harper. Next they made three dimensional bugs or birds with model magic lay pipe cleaners feathers and beads. Then they made habitats for their creations.
Design day
We had a design day for grades kindergarten through second grade. The students were mixed up into groups and went around to different stations. The subject of the design day were plants and animals. At the art station they did a project that connected to the lifecycle of a plant.
Design day -Space
Third fourth and fifth grade students divided up into groups and went around station to station at the art station they created the cycle of the moon art projects.
Clown mask
The students made masks of clowns. They used paper plates pom-poms markers crayons and other things to glue onto their mats.

Me and my quilt
First grade students designed quilts using paper, and then added themselves.
They used paper collage.
