Pre-K artists created three dimensional trees ,using egg cartons and wood tree cutouts. They use tempera paint to paint the egg cartons watercolors to paint the wood trees and then added fruit stickers pipe cleaners and grass and flowers to their Garden.

Painted flowers
Pre-K artists created big flowers after looking at artwork artist Georgia O'Keeffe. They started by using a black passed out to outline their flower and then filled the flower in with tempera paint. I gave them only the primary colors and they mixed all the other colors.

Pictures of the story of Joseph and his brothers
Second grade students are working on making pictures from the story of Joseph and his brothers. The second grader is used crayons and watercolors and thin black Sharpies for this project
Jerusalem mural
Second grade students worked on a Jerusalem mural as a class. Students created buildings and trees and things to put in the city and then came and glued it on to a big piece of Sky construction paper. When the students were done they looked at the collaborative work and saw how they all made the city together.

Watercolor pictures
The first grade students worked on creating pictures of their families using watercolor tissue paper and crayon. Next we mounted the artwork to gold and silver paper. An added gold and silver Mardi Gras beads that the students cut up.

Space and Rocket
First grade students created paintings of space using crayons and black tempera paint. Out of a paper towel roll they created a rocket ship using tin foil foam shapes and paper.
Flower and vase
3rd grade students created vases using recycled plastic bottles covering it and plaster and then painting them with acrylic paint. The flour is made out of tissue paper.
