Music paintings

We learned about artists who listen to music while making their artwork. Next I put on classical piano music and the children painted what they felt. Next time they come to art class they will add a Music collage.

Line paintings

The first-graders learned about all different lines. Then they painted lines with black paint on paper. In our next class they will be painting the background with different colors. I saw this project on Cassie Stephens blog.

Clocks

The fifth grade students have started working on designing their own clocks. The theme is some connection to earth or space. And they can use any supplies they like on their own clock.

Geometric shapes

The preschool students studied geometric shapes. Then we looked at the artwork of Paul Klee. We used geometric shapes to create different kinds of buildings.

Printing project for Sukkot

The fourth-grade students made foam prince the four species for Sukkot . Then they used printing ink and prayers to print their project.
