Masks

Fifth-graders looked at masks from around the world. Next with black sharpie they drew the outline for their mask in all the details and designs. Using watercolors they added complementary colors to their mask and the background.

Fruit and vegetable canvases

The third-grade students are painting on big canvases they are choosing a fruit or a vegetable that they want to paint. The supplies they are using our newspaper ,acrylic paint ,collage and pastels.






Bird and nest

The first grade students made a three dimensional bird and nest using recycled supplies and clay. They also use buttons and feathers.

Landscape

Fourth fourth grade students are working on creating a landscape and then making a three-dimensional animal to go with their landscape.






Plastered noise maker sculptures

This is a project for Purim A holiday where you use noisemakers. The student used plaster to cover 2 cups with some beads inside of them. They created a figure sculpture. Next the second graders used acrylic paint to paint their sculpture. After that they added features and clothes using cloth , Googly eyes and yarn.














Birds

The first grade students are working on a mixed media bird project. They are using pastels and painted paper.
